Welcome to Fresh Focus! I'm Lisa Litwack, a CALC-certified ADHD coach trained through the International ADHD Coach Training Center. I'm here to help you with executive function skills, time management, motivation, organization, goal setting, and any other barriers you face with your ADHD.
ADHD coaching is the process of a trained coach helping a person with ADHD (diagnosed or suspected) manage their symptoms and work toward their goals in life. This is a collaborative process where the coach fosters an environment for the client’s success and growth, rather than simply giving them instructions.
My approach to coaching focuses on building and developing your individual strengths. I believe that by viewing each client as a creative, resourceful part of the process, you are more prepared to explore new tactics and strategies for managing your ADHD, and which are tailored specifically to you.
This depends based on the client's needs, their goals, and how frequently we have sessions. However, most coaching agreements will last for 3-6 months with the option to extend the length if desired.
My rates are on a sliding scale of $70-115 per session. "Sliding scale" means that the client chooses how much they're able to pay. I encourage you to reflect on your employment status, socioeconomic standing, etc. and choose a rate that is comfortable for you. Clients paying a higher rate help subsidize my clients who do not have the same access to funds.
All payment is done by e-transfer (an alternate method can be arranged upon request).
Unfortunately, ADHD coaching is not currently covered by Canadian insurance plans. However, I offer a sliding scale for payments to keep the cost more accessible.
No, you don't need any referrals to receive coaching. Anyone can book a session with me on the "Contact" page above.
I'm located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, but I conduct my appointments virtually so I can work with anyone, anywhere.
